LEVEL 1 - BEGINNERS' BRUSH LETTERING

Our most popular calligraphy workshop!

This workshop is perfect for beginners or those who have never formally learnt modern calligraphy. In this two-hour workshop we use (in our opinion!) the easiest brush for beginners, which is also loved by pro calligraphers. We will go through the drills to help you get used to your pen, learn two different alphabets to help you find your own unique style and then make cards and frame to show off your new skills!

You will have the opportunity to try out some larger brush pens too and we'll also show you how you can do calligraphy with ANY pen or pencil.

This workshop is loved by both adults and kids alike, from the age of 7+

All our workshops are in a small group, usually no larger than 12, and there are three of us to give you personalised feedback throughout the two hours, answer any questions or write your or your families names! You will leave with a kit that will let you carry on practising after you leave and will have the opportunity to purchase other materials after the class to keep experimenting on your own!
